Nam is a first generation Tibetan-American, cyclo-tourer, nature enthusiast, and budding travel writer. Through environmental activism, climate change, and reducing use of fossil fuels she started bike commuting everywhere. She now rides her bicycle full time and advocates for more gender and racial diversity within the outdoors industries. Nam is a co-founder of WTF Bikexplorers, a nationwide group that brings together women, transgender, femme, and non-binary cyclists for a 3-day summit and organizes long distance bike-packing tours throughout the country. We chat sexism in cycling, joy of bikes, being an immigrant, diversity, climbing, adventure, women bike mechanics + so much more. Sensi Graves is a professional kiteboarder, coach, swimwear designer, entrepreneur, and writer. She launched Sensi Graves Bikinis to create suits that actually stay on in rough conditions of the surf. Her mission: empower women in watersports by giving them the confidence they need and the swimwear they can rely on. Sensi is a four times nominee for AWSI kiteboarder of the year and is ranked 3rd on the Kite Park League World Tour in 2017. Sensi Graves Bikinis has been recognized by Self Magazine as a top suit for sports and is the winner of the 2017 SELF Healthy Living Awards.
